Senior Javascript Developer (New York)

You will be part of the team responsible for development, maintenance and support of this core aspect of our technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development and maintenance of the companies advanced Javascript libraries
  • Solving problems at the cutting edge of the Javascript development
  • Writing and administering Javascript unit tests and documentation

 

You should have expert knowledge of:

  • Intricacies of resource loading in browsers (such as scripts or iframes; their order of download and execution; blocking behaviour)
  • Document loading, parsing, `document.write` behaviour
  • Web page performance and common web page performance optimizations
  • Javascript, DOM, and browser performance issues

US Financial Controller (New York)

 

The US Financial Controller will have responsibility for the day to day Finance, Legal, HR and Facilities functions in the US. You will also be expected to proactively build relationships with the rest of the business and represent finance in operational matters. There will also be an expectation for the Financial Controller to support the CFO where necessary in various commercial and strategic projects.

 

You will be a qualified Accountant with a track record of building and maintaining robust financial controls and processes in fast-paced organisations. You should feel comfortable working as part of a small team (no direct but one dotted line report) in a high growth business. You should be able to build effective working relationships with both finance and non-finance staff. You will be technically strong yet commercially minded and will be looking to further your career in an entrepreneurial company.

 

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

 

Finance

Financial management and control

  • Ensure receipts or invoices are obtained for every transaction so there is appropriate supporting documentation for the auditors.
  • Process all supplier invoices, sales invoices, receipts & payments into Sage on a weekly basis. Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
  • Prepare weekly aged creditor & debtor reports for the UK Financial Controller from Sage.
  • Send out monthly Statements from Sage to Debtors.
  • Oversee the credit control process – ensure that we are being paid on a timely basis and that the incidence of disputes/bad debts are minimised and highlighted
  • As part of the month end process work with the Account Management team to calculate monthly revenue due to Tagman and prepare and send invoices in accordance with these calculations.
  • As part of the month end process work with Sales and Account Management team to forecast recurring revenue and pipeline for the remainder of the year.
  • At the beginning of each month send the UK Financial Controller a list of all sales invoices raised that month
  • Manage the cash and treasury operations in the US.
  • Based on the weekly aged creditor report determine which creditors need to be paid and when based on the current cash levels.
  • Review the fortnightly pay run reports prepared by Trinet and liaise with them on a regular basis to advise them of new starters, changes to salary and any bonuses or commissions that need to be paid out.
  • Process all the Payroll payments into Sage on a fortnightly basis
  • As part of the month end process prepare bank reconciliations in Sage and forward to the UK Financial Controller for review.
  • Assist the UK Financial Controller at month end where required.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Develop, implement and maintain robust and efficient financial accounting systems and controls ensuring the financial integrity of all transactions and security of all group assets
  • Ensure awareness of external market developments (accounting standards, compliance matters, company law) that may impact upon business execution
  • Calculation of monthly bonus and commissions to relevant staff

 

External reporting, company secretarial and taxation

  • Prepare the quarterly Sales Tax returns
  •  Review the corporation tax returns
  • Oversee timely and accurate fiscal accounting and reporting ensuring compliance with all relevant taxation laws
  • Liaison with US external tax advisers as required
  • Assist Company Secretary on all corporate secretarial affairs for TagMan Inc, including any required statutory filings
  • Assist the UK Financial Controller with the annual audit requirements

 

Facilities/Office Administration

  • Implementing and maintaining all necessary and appropriate insurance and other company policies
  • Supervise support staff
  • Manage all matters relating to the Company’s premises, excluding IT infrastructure

Legal

  • Manage all legal requirements including actively advising the business on commercial agreements for working with customers and suppliers
  • Liaise with external Lawyers as is required
  • Patent applications

Human Resources

  • Ensure US Staff Handbook, Employment Contract and US Office Policies and Procedures are up to date
  • Manage US Office Health & Safety
  • Oversee the management and development of US HR process and reporting
  • Review offer letters and liaise with recruiting managers on their hiring needs
  •  Responsibility for US Training Budget under supervision of CEO
  • Visa process for overseas workers
  • Share/option plan administration support

Sales Support Engineer (New York)

 

 
We are currently seeking candidates for a Sales Support Engineer role to join the Sales and Client Service team.  The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.  Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.  Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. 
 
You will help with the implementation of TagMan code and perform quality checks to ensure that work has been completed successfully and work closely with the Product Management, Engineering and Client Services team. This role is an excellent opportunity for you to gain exposure to a vast variety of web technologies.  Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology.   • Support the client in ensuring their web site & online marketing campaigns are fully tracked & de-duplicated.  You will be expected to apply sophisticated tools for tracking websites, marketing channels (such as display banners), PPC and affiliates, as well as marketing insight data.  You will eventually be expected to train the Account Executive(s) on these tools and their application. 
  • Work technically & strategically with tracking tags to ensure the client has improved knowledge of their website & online marketing performance.

You will work under the supervision of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).  You will be responsible for assisting with the CRO on various administrative tasks, and serve as the primary gatekeeper, screening calls, emails, correspondence.
